SAP Master Data Analyst

SAP Data Analyst 12-month contract Remote - EST Hours Role Overview: • The SAP master data analyst will provide hands-on support for SAP S/4Hana master data elements in the Record to Report, Order to Cash, and Source to Pay processes • The SAP master data analyst will work cross-functionally with business users, data owners, and IT Support teams. Responsibilities: • Manage master data change requests through a ticketing system. • Collaborate with business users to create, maintain, and resolve errors for SAP S/4 master data objects (e.g., Projects, WBS elements, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, GL Accounts, Statistical Key Figures, Suppliers, Customers, Materials, Fixed Assets, etc.). • Develop and maintain master data work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and request forms. • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements; document updates using process flowcharts and narratives. • Support the creation and maintenance of data files using mass upload templates (e.g., LTMC, LSMW). • Assist with data migration, transformation, and mapping projects, including data cleansing and standardization activities. • Perform data corrections and cleansing in source systems and validate target data for accuracy and quality. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Hands-on experience with integrated SAP finance and supply chain processes, including WBS elements, Projects, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, GL Accounts, Statistical Key Figures, Suppliers, Materials, and Customers. • Strong understanding of SAP ERP metadata and master data concepts. • Familiarity with LTMC and LSMW mass upload templates. • Experience working with IT ticketing systems. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with strong skills in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, forms, data queries) and familiarity with Power BI. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 1–3 years of experience working with SAP ERP (S/4HANA preferred).
