Job Title: SAP Material Master Data Specialist (IT Data & Business Intelligence Analyst)
Location: Wilmington, DE (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Duration: 12-Month Contract (possible extension)
Overview:
We’re seeking an SAP Material Master Data Specialist to manage and optimize SAP Material Master data for a leading chemical industry client. The role focuses on data integrity, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, purchasing, supply chain, finance, and quality teams.
Key Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field
• 3–5 years’ SAP experience, preferably in the chemical industry
• Knowledge of SAP GUI scripting, MM17, LSMW, MMCOPY
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and data management expertise
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and improve SAP Material Master data, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Execute material processes and product data cleansing
• Develop and update technical documents and procedures
• Implement best practices in Material Master Data governance
• Support cross-functional teams with data insights and problem resolution
