Role description
Aurex Group is partnered with a leading midstream energy infrastructure client on their search for an Oracle HRIS Analyst to join their Houston office. The business is rapidly expanding into new energy sectors including chemicals, hydrogen, and LNG, with a focus on safety, reliability, and sustainability.
Role Overview:
The Senior Analyst, HRIS will work at the intersection of HR, data and energy innovation to deliver meaningful workforce insights through Oracle reporting and analytics. This role partners with HR leaders and business stakeholders to design, build, and maintain reports that drive data-informed decisions, while continuously improving reporting capabilities across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Lead reporting & analytics using Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, and Fusion Data Intelligence
β’ Translate business requirements into accurate and actionable reports.
β’ Validate, document, and maintain reporting processes and outputs.
β’ Support HR data governance, standards, and user adoption.
β’ Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
Skills & Experience:
β’ 4+ years as an HRIS Analyst, preferably with Oracle Fusion HCM.
β’ Strong knowledge of Oracle reporting tools (BIP, OTBI, SQL/PLSQL).
β’ Familiarity with Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Learning, Talent, Recruiting).
β’ Experience with Oracle databases and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
β’ Energy industry experience, midstream preferred.
