Senior Analyst, SAP Master Data West Chester, PA & Raynham, MA Long Term Contract Job Description The Senior Analyst, SAP Master Data will be supporting Global Solution Design and S4 deployment for Material Master and/or Business Partner The incumbent will be linked into the transformation organization, a multi-year North America business transformation initiative that will modernize our end-to-end Supply Chain digital capabilities by harmonizing our disparate ecosystem major North America MT ERP systems, standardizing our core business processes and products [across Plan, Source, Make, Quality, Deliver, and Data], and enabling our integrated data strategy through a single SAP S/4 HANA instance. As a Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence, you will combine business insights with technical expertise to drive data activities within transformation programs. The Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence, will be a highly skilled individual within ERP Deployments and ensuring delivery of all aspects of data analysis, mapping, and transfer. This individual must leverage a refined, multi-functional toolset of technical, business expertise, ERP deployment, and digital acumen to effectively interact with a breadth of business stakeholders and North America process owners. The successful candidate must be able to engage, operate, and communicate with programming teams. Key Responsibilities Expert in Material Master and/or Business Partner Lead Function or Capability SAP Master Data - Material Master and/or Business Partner Functional expertise while having a good understanding of the E2E supply chain processes and the interactions across the various functional areas. Collaborating with technical subject matter experts to assess legacy data. Ensure key business impacts and requirements are understood, designed, and deployed in an integrated and effective manner within program timelines and scope. Manage cross-program interdependencies for respective areas of responsibility, by collaborating with respective stakeholders to implement controls, cadence, and risk mitigations. Ability to navigate differing priorities and align objectives to ensure smooth process adoption across the business. Ability to analyze existing MDG workflows to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement. Design and execute MDG test plans and test cases for Material Master and Business Partner processes (BSIM, and UAT), validating validations, workflows, interfaces, and data replication to ensure changes meet business requirements. Create and maintain accurate, versioned MDG documentation: functional test scripts, test evidence/results, test summaries, configuration notes, process flows, master-data rules, and release notes for auditability and handover. Coordinate across stakeholders (business SMEs, data stewards, development, Basis/Integration teams) to provision test data/environments, manage defect lifecycle, and obtain approvals for promotions to production. Verify data quality and compliance with governance standards by performing data validation checks, supporting data remediation activities, and recommending improvements or automation to reduce recurring issues. Follows established practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives. Qualifications Demonstrated experience designing and executing test plans and test cases (unit, integration, regression, UAT) for MDG scenarios and managing test evidence and defect lifecycles. Strong knowledge of S/4HANA MDG (or ECC MDG) concepts, master data lifecycle, validations, workflows, and replication mechanisms (ALE/IDoc, PI/PO or Cloud Integration). Familiarity with common testing and ALM tools such as JIRA, HP ALM/ALM Octane, or Azure DevOps, and experience producing versioned documentation and release notes. Experience working with multiple data management, data transformation, data migration. Preferred: SAP MDG certification, basic ABAP debugging knowledge, experience with BRF+/BADI, and prior exposure to data governance frameworks or Master Data Stewardship. Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proven ability to influence/ collaborate to get to desired result required. Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate complex technical subject matter in call formats (email, presentations, Excel based) Knowledge in deploying standardized work processes, tools, and templates required. Exceptional business and digital acumen, including ERP & workflow expertise required. Require Travel: up to 20% domestic and international. Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required. Requires At least 4 years of experience in ERP SAP and Supply Chain Data implementation projects across multi-national companies. Full knowledge of industry practices and standards. Receive predetermined work assignments that are process driven. Exhibits advanced wide-ranging experience, using in-depth professional knowledge, acumen, concepts and company objectives to develop, resolves complex models and procedures.
