Job Title: Senior Analytics Engineer Location: Lodnon- Hybrid one day a week About The Role My client are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to help shape and scale their data ecosystem. You’ll partner with analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders to design and deliver high-quality, reliable datasets that power decision-making across the organization. This role is central to building a strong data culture, enabling self-service, and ensuring data is both trusted and accessible. What they are Looking For β€’ Strong programming skills in SQL and Python, with experience using modern data platforms and orchestration tools β€’ Proficiency in data engineering best practices, including data modeling, warehousing, governance, observability, monitoring, and performance/cost optimization. β€’ Experience working across the full data stack and integrating multiple data sources. β€’ Hands-on expertise with BI tools, ideally Looker, both from a platform engineering perspective and as a support partner for business users. β€’ Ability to work independently, deliver high-quality features, and influence the team’s priorities and roadmap. β€’ Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. β€’ Experience collaborating in dynamic, fast-paced environments with evolving requirements. β€’ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Github Actions, Jenkins) for analytics workflows is a plus. What You’ll Do β€’ Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to design, scope, and implement scalable data models. β€’ Improve and standardize BI definitions within the data stack, ensuring consistency and reducing reliance on manual updates. β€’ Refactor and optimize existing data models to enhance performance, usability, and maintainability. β€’ Build high-quality, production-ready datasets that empower analysts and business teams. β€’ Contribute to the long-term vision of a robust, self-service analytics environment
