Senior Analytics Engineer – Marketing Data (Retail / E‑Commerce) Location: Hybrid, New York City (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Type: Full-Time Contract Duration: 9 Months with Potential Extension Hourly Rate: $70–$80/hr We are supporting a leading retail e‑commerce organization in their search for a Senior Analytics Engineer to help advance their marketing data infrastructure and analytics capabilities. This role is ideal for a seasoned data professional with deep experience in marketing, CRM, and digital analytics data pipelines. Role Overview The Senior Analytics Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable data models that empower marketing, lifecycle, and growth teams. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver high‑quality datasets, reporting, and insights that directly support marketing performance and strategic decision-making. Required Experience • 8+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role. • Proven experience working with marketing data in the retail/e‑commerce space. • Advanced proficiency in SQL, dbt, Looker (including LookML and visualization development), and Snowflake. • Hands‑on experience with Salesforce, Google Analytics, and Marketo (email campaign data). Additional Preferred Skills • Experience supporting CRM, lifecycle marketing, attribution, and paid media teams. • Strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable data models. • Solid understanding of ELT best practices. • Strong communication skills and comfort working with non‑technical stakeholders. • Ability to work independently in a fast‑moving environment.
