About the Role: The Indiana Office of Technology (IOT) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Integration & Data Engineer to lead the development and support of mission-critical applications and data pipelines used by state agencies. This role requires deep technical expertise in integration tools, cloud-based data processing, and enterprise software development. You’ll be responsible for designing and maintaining robust integrations using MuleSoft, Azure Data Factory, and GoAnywhere MFT, while also leading the development of data pipelines, analytics models, and cloud-native solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain applications and data pipelines using: • MuleSoft APIs • Azure Data Factory • GoAnywhere MFT • Other cloud-based ETL tools • Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows and data models for analytics and reporting. • Integrate systems across cloud and on-prem environments to enable smooth data flow. • Write clean, scalable code using modern languages and frameworks. • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. • Troubleshoot and resolve system/application issues effectively. • Collaborate with Agile project teams and participate in planning, sprint reviews, and standups. • Create and maintain high-quality documentation for applications, processes, and standards. • Mentor junior developers and promote collaborative development practices. • Ensure compliance with state security, data governance, and IT policies. Skills • 7+ years of experience as a Senior Developer and/or Data Engineer • 7+ years of hands-on experience with: • MuleSoft APIs • Azure Data Factory • GoAnywhere MFT • 7+ years working across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and implementing CI/CD pipelines • 7+ years of full-stack software development and debugging experience • 7+ years of data modeling experience using both SQL and NoSQL databases • 7+ years designing and developing ETL/ELT data pipelines • Proven expertise in data quality practices and data governance standards • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
