Role description
We are looking for a Senior Associate Data Engineer to support the development and maintenance of enterprise-scale data pipelines in a modern cloud environment. This role requires a hands-on engineer who can quickly ramp up, work independently, and effectively collaborate in a client-facing setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data transformations
• Develop and optimize data models within cloud-based data platforms
• Partner with cross-functional teams to enable data integration and analytics use cases
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across systems
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions in a client-facing environment
• Contribute to best practices in data engineering, automation, and workflow orchestration
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow (or similar orchestration tools)
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline architecture
• Experience working in cloud environments (e.g., AWS)
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting
Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to AI/ML tools or workflows (e.g., AWS Bedrock, Snowflake ML)
• Familiarity with automation and AI-assisted data processes
• Experience supporting pilot or early-stage AI initiatives is a plus
