This role involves close collaboration with modernization teams to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that align with technical requirements and business objectives. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose modernization strategies • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery • Act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies • Design, develop, test, debug, and deliver solutions within timelines using best practices • Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues and challenges • Design and implement scalable, secure AWS solutions tailored to project needs • Identify architectural risks and create mitigation plans • Ensure adherence to standards and best practices • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Required Skills & Experience: • Proficiency in AWS services for building enterprise-level Data Lakes (7+ years) • Application modernization, refactoring, migration, and cloud-native development (7+ years) • Data Ingestion & Storage: S3, Kinesis Data Streams, Kinesis Data Firehose, DMS (7+ years) • Data Processing & Transformation: AWS Glue, Lambda, EMR, Athena, Flink, Step Functions, SageMaker (7+ years) • DevOps practices and automation tools (7+ years) • Software development with hands-on coding in Python and other object-oriented languages (10+ years) • Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (10+ years) • Agile/Scrum Framework experience (7+ years) Desired Skills: • Data analytics & BI tools (Power BI, AWS QuickSight) – 3+ years • AWS Certification • Prior State Government experience
