Senior Azure DevOps Engineer (12+years Required)

Job Role: Azure DevOps Engineer Location: Bellevue, Washington (5 days Onsite) Duration: Contract (12+Months) Job Description: The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipeline development, and automation. You’ll be collaborating with software development teams to streamline deployment processes, improve system reliability, and support continuous integration and delivery frameworks. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes. • Manage Azure resources using ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, or Azure CLI. • Monitor infrastructure and applications to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability. • Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to ensure smooth release cycles. • Implement best practices for security, compliance, and cost optimization in Azure environments. • Troubleshoot issues across the DevOps stack: build failures, infrastructure outages, deployment issues, etc. • Maintain and improve configuration management and automation using tools like Ansible, PowerShell, and Azure DevOps Pipelines. • Support containerization strategies using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (AKS). • Ensure adherence to DevOps principles and practices across engineering teams. Required Skills & Experience: • 12+ years of experience in DevOps or a similar role with at least 4-5+ years working in Azure environments. • Strong experience with Azure DevOps Services, Repos, Pipelines, and Boards. • Expertise in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python. • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates. • Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (preferably AKS). • Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights). • Solid understanding of source control systems, especially Git. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Preferred Qualifications: • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400). • Experience working in an enterprise environment, preferably with Microsoft. • Familiarity with cross-platform deployments including Linux and Windows environments. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
