Role description
Sr. BI Analyst (On-site, 12 months) (Only w2)
Weβre seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to strengthen data modeling and architecture capabilities for major capital and analytics programs.
This is a fully on-site, 12-month engagement supporting initiatives such as Resilience Analytics, AOA, PIMS, X1FBO, and SmartSuite.
What youβll do
β’ Lead data modeling and architecture efforts for data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes.
β’ Design logical and physical data models and implement best practices (star schemas, snowflake schemas, SCDs, aggregations).
β’ Build, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT routines, SQL scripts, and metadata repositories.
β’ Create and support BI projects and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, and Dataiku.
β’ Work with system and database administrators, business analysts, and QA to test, tune, and deploy analytics solutions.
β’ Participate in conceptual phases to identify and solve business and operational data problems.
β’ Produce functional requirements, documentation, and support planning and budget activities for BI initiatives.
β’ Analyze statistical and operational data to identify trends and support decision-making.
Required skills & experience
β’ Strong understanding of data warehousing architectures and modeling methodologies (star schema, snowflake, SCDs, aggregation techniques).
β’ Proven experience creating logical and physical data models for data marts, data warehouses, and data lakes.
β’ Hands-on SQL expertise; experience with PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and partitioning.
β’ Experience building and maintaining enterprise BI solutions and dashboards (Tableau, Tableau Desktop/Cloud, Power BI, MicroStrategy, Dataiku).
β’ History of delivering production-ready analytics solutions using Agile/Scrum and cloud technologies.
β’ Experience in enterprise-level architecture services and supporting large, multi-year programs.
β’ Strong analytical skills; ability to interpret statistical data and identify meaningful trends.
Nice to have
β’ Experience with medallion architecture or modern multi-layered data platforms.
β’ Prior work supporting capital projects or airport/transportation programs.
