Role description
A global media company is looking for a new Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to deliver high-quality, performant, and scalable reporting solutions using leading BI tools. Responsibilities: • Play a critical role in designing, building, and evolving the large-scale BI platforms that power day-to-day decision-making across business teams • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs for dashboards, datasets, and reporting solutions • Collaborate with Analysts, Product Managers, and Data Engineers to deliver visual, actionable insights aligned with quality, performance, and governance standards • Design, develop, maintain, and support dashboards, reports, and underlying datasets as business needs evolve • Continuously optimize existing dashboards, datasets, and SQL queries to improve performance, usability, and reliability • Educate and support business users through training, documentation, and office-hours-style assistance to increase BI tool adoption • Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, including data warehousing, analytics, and BI technologies • Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Computer Science, and/or a Quantitative discipline • Strong expertise in building enterprise-scale dashboards and reports in Tableau and/or Looker • Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex joins, window functions, and performance optimization • Experience with large-scale data platforms such as Redshift, Snowflake, and/or Databricks • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and analytics-friendly data structures • Experience designing and maintaining scalable, performant BI data models • Proven ability to deliver production-ready reporting in distributed, service-oriented environments • Excellent communication and customer-service skills with the ability to partner effectively across technical and non-technical teams Desired Skills: • Experience administering and supporting Tableau and/or Looker environments
