Senior Business Intelligence Developer

Job Title: Senior BI developer Work Location: Fremont, CA (all 5 days on site) Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with strong SQL skills to design, develop, and optimize business intelligence solutions that transform raw data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data modeling, and dashboard/report development, with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and translate requirements into impactful BI solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business decision-making. • Build efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. • Work closely with business users and data analysts to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions. • Implement data modeling and DAX measures to optimize Power BI performance. • Integrate data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, flat files, cloud platforms) into BI solutions. • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security within reports and dashboards. • Optimize performance of SQL queries and Power BI datasets. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. • Experience as a Power BI Developer or BI Developer. • Strong expertise in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or similar), including query optimization and stored procedure development. • Exposure to Python, R, or other scripting languages for data manipulation is preferred. • Knowledge of enterprise-level BI solutions and governance frameworks.
