

Senior Data Analyst
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to support critical reporting functions related to SOX compliance and regulatory requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end data operations, including collection, validation, cleansing, transformation, and reporting. You’ll work closely with internal teams to extract meaningful insights and ensure the integrity of high-impact datasets used in financial and compliance reporting.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise (SQL, ETL, Excel) and business acumen to support cross-functional data needs and ensure alignment with audit and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect, validate, clean, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes, complex SQL queries, and stored procedures to support data pipelines and reporting frameworks.
• Extract data from relational databases, manual files, and public websites for business analysis.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and respond to ad hoc data inquiries.
• Create, automate, and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports using Excel and other reporting tools.
• Document requirements, logic, processes, and data flows for both internal and regulatory reporting.
• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all data outputs, especially in relation to SOX controls and other audit requirements.
Required Skills and Tools:
• Proven experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
• Proficiency in SQL, ETL design, and report automation tools.
• Strong understanding of data validation, data quality, and cleansing best practices.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data visualization.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance, audit readiness, or working with regulatory reporting teams.
• Knowledge of statistical tools or data visualization platforms is a plus (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, R).
