Job Summary:
KellyMitchell Group is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team in San Francisco. The role involves performing deep-dive analyses into user behavior, translating data into compelling stories, and partnering with various teams to ensure data quality and reporting frameworks are maintained.
Responsibilities:
β’ Perform deep-dive analyses into web and agentic user behavior to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization
β’ Translate complex data into clear, compelling stories for cross-functional teams and executives
β’ Partner with engineering and data teams to ensure high data quality, accurate tracking, and consistent metrics
β’ Build and maintain reporting frameworks, dashboards, and KPIs that serve marketing, growth, and executive audiences
β’ Lead automation of recurring reports and contribute to scalable reporting solutions
β’ Ensure data quality and consistency in pipelines feeding our marketing data warehouse
β’ Coordinate and track projects across data ingestion, analytics, and reporting workstreams
β’ Serve as the point of contact for stakeholder needs, helping prioritize requests and align work with business objectives
β’ Drive cross-functional communication and alignment through regular updates, documentation, and presentations
β’ Partner with stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Engineering, and GTM to define priorities and roadmap
β’ Own the definition of user stories and acceptance criteria informed by the product roadmap
β’ Provide review and testing for work completed by the engineering team
β’ Work closely with scrum lead to ensure engineering team is well-informed of new work and enabled to succeed
β’ Act as a thought partner within the team and with key partners across Marketing, Product and Engineering
β’ Interface with executive leadership on a regular and ad hoc basis
β’ Serve as a subject matter expert on web and agentic analytics, enabling data literacy and adoption across teams
Qualifications:
Required:
β’ 7+ years of experience in analytics, data strategy, or related roles, ideally in marketing or product analytics
β’ Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale data warehouses
β’ Familiarity with web analytics tools and event-based tracking frameworks
β’ Experience with data visualization tools
β’ Proven ability to manage complex projects and prioritize across multiple stakeholders, ideally within Agile frameworks and tools
β’ Excellent communication and storytelling skills
β’ Able to turn data into strategy and insight into action
β’ Experience working with AI/agentic interfaces or conversational data analytics
