Senior Data Analyst

Job Summary: Optomi, in partnership with a leading media and entertainment company, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join their team. You will partner with other teams across the business to turn data into information, information into insights, and insights into key business decisions that steer the strategic direction of the company. This role will design innovative analytic approaches to measure success, test hypotheses, extract actionable insights, and develop recommendations to drive performance. Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of analytical experience • 3+ years' work experience using SQL • Proficiency in Python/R or other statistical programming languages • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Looker • Strong understanding of statistical concepts, including confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis • Ability to think strategically and interpret market and consumer information • Exceptional communication and presentation skills Job Responsibilities: • Design, analyze, and interpret experiments across the product. • Ensure experiments are designed to provide value and are correctly interpreted. • Support cross-functional stakeholders by providing insights into platform performance and actionable recommendations to improve or capitalize on success. • Use advanced techniques such as statistical modeling, experimentation, and causal inference to analyze user behavior and uncover opportunities for improvement. • Support forecasting and opportunity sizing to help evaluate trade-offs and set performance goals.
