Senior Data Analyst

Belcan Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join a long-term assignment based fully on site in Southampton. This is a high-impact role supporting a complex operational programme where high-quality data and insight are critical to effective decision-making. The contract is offered for an initial 12 months, with a strong likelihood of extension up to two years. The role is inside IR35, with rates dependent on experience. You will be responsible for importing, cleansing, validating and analysing data across SAP, Microsoft Office and Power BI environments. The role requires not only locating and structuring data but also drawing clear conclusions and recommendations from it. You will produce concise, management-level reports and presentations, working closely with stakeholders across multiple departments to identify trends, correlations and opportunities to improve data quality and performance. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will also provide guidance and mentoring to junior analysts, supporting capability development within the wider team. This position is fully site-based in Southampton, and preference will be given to local candidates who can commit to on-site working.
