Role description
Senior Data Analyst
Location: Remote (occasional travel to London may be required)
Contract Length: Until end of year, with potential extension to March
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Start Date: Mid to late October
Additional: DBS check preferred
Overview
You'll join the national reporting team of a leading charity. The work focuses on analysing and reporting on service user data, with future expansion into more corporate data such as finance.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Analyse and report on service user data from Government departments
β’ Produce and enhance monthly reports (partly automated).
β’ Handle ad hoc data queries from stakeholders.
β’ Develop new reporting applications and create weekly performance reports (primarily in Excel).
β’ Support the transition to broader data reporting, e.g. finance data.
β’ Upskill the team in Power BI and improve reporting capabilities.
β’ Assess outputs based on requests and deliver actionable insights.
Required Skills & Experience
β’ Strong experience with Power BI and Excel.
β’ Familiarity with Business Objects (data environment).
β’ Industry preference- non-profit or public sector
β’ Comfortable working with AI-assisted tools (e.g. Copilot).
β’ Ability to investigate stakeholder requests and translate into actionable outputs.
β’ Proven track record in delivering accurate outputs, solving problems, and working proactively.
β’ Exposure to change management would be beneficial.
β’ Experience across a wide range of industries is a plus.
