Senior Data Analyst: On behalf of our financial client, Procom is searching for a Senior Data Analyst for a long-term contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Rutherford, NJ office. Senior Data Analyst - Job Description: This role involves working on the development and deployment of data analytics solutions in production environments. The project focuses on leveraging Python and database technologies to enhance data analytics capabilities, with a strong emphasis on Big Data environments. Senior Data Analyst - Responsibilities: • Develop and deploy data analytics solutions using Python and database technologies. • Manage project pipelines to ensure prioritization and appropriate resourcing. • Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, setting high performance standards. • Retain talent and manage career progression, performance management, and conflict resolution. • Influence business outcomes in collaboration with leadership and stakeholders. • Define business requirements and create technical and process documentation. • Utilize strategic thinking to frame business problems and translate large volumes of data. Senior Data Analyst - Mandatory Skills: • Minimum 10+ years of data analytics experience with strong Python coding skills. • Experience in Big Data environments and technologies like PySpark, SQL/PLSQL, and Kafka. • Proven track record in building and deploying data analytics solutions. • At least 8 years of people management experience. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong coordination and project management skills. • Ability to influence business outcomes and communicate across teams. Senior Data Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills: • Intellectual curiosity in technological advancements. • Experience with risk mitigation strategies. • Strong stakeholder management skills. • Experience in strategic thinking and problem framing. • Proficiency in translating data into actionable insights.
