Senior Data Analyst

Day-to-Day: Insight Global is hiring for a Sr. Data Analyst to sit onsite either in Stamford, CT or Denver, CO for a large telecommunication company. This Sr. Data Analyst will be joining the Service Reliability Analytics team. This role focuses on using advanced, non-machine-learning techniques to analyze operational data and uncover actionable insights that improve network reliability. The analyst will transform complex data into clear, compelling stories for internal teams and play a key role in shaping strategic decisions. On a day-to-day, this Sr. Data Analyst will extract data using SQL, create reports within Excel, create visualizations, and analysis. Furthermore, this analyst will be working specifically on projects such as network evolution changes, impacts, and understanding if/why/how customers are being impacted. Must Haves: • 7-12 years of experience within data analytics • Strong proficiency within SQL for analyzing & extracting data • Strong proficiency within Excel for preparing, organization, and creating reports • Ability to present presentation deck at the executive/leadership level • Critical thinking & analytical knowledge: • Understand key attributes and metrics central to reliability analysis • "Tell the data story" • Root Cause Analysis: identifying any gaps, trends, opportunities, etc. • Bachelors Degree within Computer Science, Data Science or a related field Plusses: • Degree within Liberal Arts • Telecom Background
