Responsibilities Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize key performance indicators and trends. Lead data analysis projects by applying advanced analytics techniques with R, Python, and SQL to uncover insights that inform strategic decisions. Design and implement efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes utilizing Talend, Bash scripts, VBA, and other tools to ensure high-quality data integration from diverse sources like Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and Linked Data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver timely analytical solutions aligned with business goals. Manage the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for analytics projects, ensuring quality assurance and adherence to best practices. Conduct thorough business analysis by translating stakeholder needs into technical specifications and actionable data models. Design scalable database schemas and optimize database performance through effective database design principles. Support project management efforts by tracking progress, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely delivery of analytics initiatives. Communicate complex findings clearly through Visio diagrams, presentations, and detailed documentation to facilitate understanding across all levels of the organization. Requirements Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst with a strong portfolio of successful analytics projects. Expertise in SQL programming with experience working on Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases. Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker; familiarity with dashboard development is essential. Hands-on experience with R and Python for statistical analysis and predictive modeling. Strong knowledge of ETL processes using Talend or similar tools; scripting skills in Bash (Unix shell) are a plus. Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies within an Agile framework for delivering analytics solutions efficiently. Experience with database design principles and working with linked data sources for comprehensive analysis. Excellent business analysis skills to interpret stakeholder requirements into technical specifications. Familiarity with VBA scripting for automation tasks within Microsoft Office applications is advantageous. Knowledge of project management fundamentals to coordinate multiple initiatives effectively.
