Location: Gaydon, Warwickshire (Hybrid: 3 days on-site) Position Type: 12-Month Contract (Rolling) Pay Rate: £33.86 per hour Department: Vehicle Engineering & Architecture Position Overview: Envisage is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Specialist focused on Software and Systems Testing. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity, consistency, and usability of testing data across all engineering domains. You will act as the vital link between engineering, testing, and development teams by analyzing complex datasets, resolving tooling discrepancies, and preparing high-quality data to drive executive decision-making. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor JIRA tickets for common errors and inconsistencies to ensure data integrity is maintained across all platforms. • Identify patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights within software and systems testing data to support engineering and quality teams. • Design and deliver transparent weekly Top-Management Reporting, translating complex data into clear, high-level messaging. • Interact with key engineering stakeholders to ensure all metrics are aligned, correct, and reflective of project goals. • Resolve tooling issues and bridge gaps between technical teams to streamline data visualization. • Provide guidance and coaching to other users on tooling best practices, focusing on data consistency and cleanliness. • Utilize data-driven insights to support long-term project planning and milestones.[ Required Skills & Qualifications: • Advanced experience with JIRA for defect tracking and Tableau for data visualization. • Proven ability to interpret complex datasets and determine key messages for diverse audiences. • Exceptional ability to interface with senior stakeholders and engineering leads. • Experience in data cleansing and monitoring for systemic errors in a high-pressure environment. • Degree educated in Data Science, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
