Overview
We are working with a leading consultancy delivering high-impact data solutions for enterprise clients. They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role will play a critical part in driving data-driven decision-making through robust data modelling, analytics, and cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models to support business intelligence and analytics use cases
• Perform complex data analysis to uncover insights and support strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Build and optimise data pipelines using Python and SQL
• Work with cloud-based data platforms to manage and process large datasets
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards are maintained
• Present findings and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong experience in data modelling (conceptual, logical, and physical)
• Advanced proficiency in Python for data analysis and transformation
• Expert-level SQL skills, including performance optimisation
• Proven experience working with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience handling large, complex datasets in a consultancy or client-facing environment
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
Desirable
• Experience with modern data stack tools (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery)
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
• Knowledge of data governance and best practices
Working Arrangement
• Hybrid: 3 days per week onsite in Canary Wharf
• Collaborative, client-facing consultancy environment
