Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing insightful reports, and providing strategic recommendations to support business decision-making. This role requires a strong background in data analysis, database management, and visualization tools, with the ability to lead projects and collaborate across departments. The Senior Data Analyst will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive organizational growth and efficiency. Experience Level:- Minimum 15 years is required Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize key metrics and trends. Lead data analysis initiatives utilizing SQL, R, Python, and ETL tools such as Talend to extract, transform, and load data from various sources including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Linked Data. Collaborate with business units to understand their analytical needs and translate them into technical solutions. Manage projects following Agile methodologies and oversee the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for analytics solutions. Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements through data-driven insights. Design and optimize database schemas and structures to support efficient data storage and retrieval. Develop scripts using VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and other programming languages to automate data workflows. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all platforms while adhering to best practices in database design. Communicate findings effectively through detailed reports, presentations, and documentation using tools like Visio. Stay current with industry trends in analytics technologies and methodologies to continuously improve analytical capabilities. Skills Expertise in Tableau, Power BI, Looker for data visualization. Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle databases, and database design principles. Proficiency in R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and ETL tools such as Talend for data manipulation and automation. Experience with SDLC processes and Agile project management methodologies. Familiarity with Business Analysis practices to interpret complex datasets into strategic insights. Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence tools like Microsoft Power BI and Looker. Knowledge of Linked Data concepts for integrating diverse datasets. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets accurately. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously. Effective communication skills for presenting technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
