Senior Data Analyst

Job Description A leading enterprise organization in the automotive services and financial solutions space is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join its Data Solutions team. Operating within an Agile Scrum environment, this role partners closely with data engineers, BI analysts, and business leaders to analyze complex datasets and enable data-driven decision-making. The position focuses heavily on data integration, warehousing, cleansing, governance, and analytics at scale. Responsibilities • Analyze complex business data to validate and support business requirements • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to document and understand data models • Guide and oversee the work of data analysts across initiatives • Conduct and validate data profiling and source-to-target mappings to ensure data quality • Support and enforce data governance practices aligned with established frameworks • Execute test plans and validate data using a variety of analytical tools • Develop and maintain standard and custom queries, dashboards, and reports • Perform root cause analysis and recommend data and process improvements • Build a strong understanding of enterprise data systems, data flows, and analytical models Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in a related field • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis with advanced SQL • Strong knowledge of database management and data modeling concepts • Hands-on experience with data integration, data warehousing, and transformation processes • Expertise with BI and analytics platforms, particularly Azure Synapse and Power BI Preferred Qualifications • Experience using database tools such as DB Visualizer • Proficiency with Microsoft tools, including Excel and Azure services • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
