Role description
OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Software and Analytics team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in demand and capacity modelling within a healthcare environment, coupled with advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Power BI. The Senior Data Analyst will work alongside Four Eyes consulting teams to deliver standard and bespoke reporting/analysis across a range of products in support of the delivery of our operational efficiency improvement programmes. A significant element of the role will be focused on quality assurance and development of our product suite ensuring we are responsive to the market in our offering of new and innovative tools. The role will require the ability to work autonomously but will include responsibility for managing a small team of analysts. Responsibilities ● Work with business analysts and consulting teams to manage the end-to-end delivery process for bespoke reporting and analysis within a programme or as a standalone project ● Support data analysts to develop and deliver complex products that can be deployed on any client site, such as demand and modelling analysis and operational dashboards ● Champion and uphold high documentation standards required to ensure resilience within the team ● Work collaboratively with colleagues to understand data requirements for delivery ● Act as a subject matter expert in the development of solutions for customers using SQL and Power BI ● Good understanding of NHS acute Trusts’ datasets, especially urgent care, elective and outpatients ● Strong technical skills evidenced by use of Excel, SQL, and Power BI ● Understanding of basic statistical analysis methods such as Linear Regression ● Ability to translate business questions into intelligence requirements. ● Ability to lead training on FEI products, for internal and external clients Skills and Experience ● Degree in a relevant discipline or relevant experience ● Work experience in a similar role, ideally in healthcare ● Excellent analytical skills with the ability to build and produce insights ● Excellent data processing skills, including an understanding of the limitations and appropriate use of data ● Ability to undertake complex analysis with minimum support, developing key findings and delivering bespoke analytics ● A good understanding of NHS acute Trust’ working environment and operational systems ● Experienced working on NHS datasets especially urgent and emergency care ● Advanced skill and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SQL Scripting ● Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and DAX programming ● A good knowledge of Azure data factory and Git ● Scripting / Data languages (Python, R, DAX) ● Able to operate within formal project management disciplines and apply simple project management tools & methodologies ● Excellent attention to detail ● Able to apply the fundamentals of effective change management and behavioural change ● Lead on stand-alone projects, organising the delivery of agreed milestones and potentially managing the workload of Analysts/Junior Analysts ● Experienced in handling competing priorities and deadlines within a diverse workload with multiple clients ● Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines and work autonomously or in charge of a small team as required ● Able to assist more junior colleagues in the production of analysis, providing support and peer reviewing the work ● Experienced in building strong, trust based advisory relationships ● Able to influence and convey credibility across Four Eyes offerings ● Proven experience of collaborative working across teams and organisations Job Types: Full-time, Freelance Work Location: Hybrid remote in Worcester WR1 1DN Application deadline: 13/02/2026
