Senior Data Analyst

Position Title: Data Analyst Location: Strongsville, OH Ability to work remote: Hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 remote Acceptable time zone(s): EST Days of the week: M-F 40 hours Working Hours: M-F 8-5 EST Intended length of Assignment: 8 months Potential for Contract Extension: Yes Contract to Hire, W2 Function of the Group: Fraud mitigation Initiatives/Projects: Continuing the work for fraud analysis for deposit fraud. This analyst will be the main analyst for that model Industry background: Financial/ Banking Analyst Team Dynamic: 5 developers, 1 scrum and Product Owner, 2 Testers Roles and Responsibilities: • Data Analysis • Finding the appropriate data to add to the model • Being a liaison between the product owner and the team, communicating back and forth • Seeking out data Must Have Technical Skills: • SQL Flex Skills/Nice to Have: • Python • Hadoop Soft Skills: • Strong written and oral communication skills • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills Education/Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree required Role Differentiator: This analyst job is working with modeling teams. They are actively working on a fraud mitigation model, which will be moving into real time. Interview Process: • 1st round with hiring manager and 1 other team member, approximately 30 minutes. • Optional 2nd round same as 1st round
