Senior Data & Analytics Consultant

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Data & Analytics Consultant to join their team. As a Senior Data & Analytics Consultant, you will be part of the Data Analytics Department supporting data enablement and management activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Data & Analytics Consultant Location: Charlotte, NC Pay Range What's the Job? • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for data use cases. • Design and architect scalable data models and data element relationships with a focus on usability, performance, and data accuracy. • Identify and write requirements for data source integrity monitoring. • Support database enhancement requests and contribute to logical data design solutions. • Participate in data management documentation including data lineage, data sharing agreements, and other metadata management activities. What's Needed? • 4+ years of relevant professional experience in data analysis or related fields. • Proficiency in MS SQL, including writing, reading, and optimizing queries for data extraction and transformation. • Experience with data cleansing, validation, and transformation logic using Alteryx or SSMS. • Ability to define clear data sourcing and transform logic requirements and database specifications. • Knowledge of metadata management and data governance practices.
