Senior Data Architect

Overview We are seeking a talented Senior Data Architect/Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for design, construct and architect Data solutions to empower informed decision-making within the organization. Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data solutions within Azure Cloud, using technologies such as Azure Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Fabric. Build architectures that are secure, scalable, compliant, and cost-efficient, with an emphasis on data governance at every stage. Own the platform architecture and implementation, ensuring the environment is secure, scalable, and optimized for the organization’s data processing needs. Design and oversee the Lakehouse architecture leveraging Delta Lake and Apache Spark. Work closely with application developers, data analysts, and data scientists to understand requirements and translate them into robust data pipelines and solutions. Ensure that data architectures support analytics, reporting, and machine learning use cases effectively. Utilize Azure services for data storage, processing, and analysis Work with Azure Data Lake for big data processing and analytics Analyze data using various tools to provide insights for business stakeholders Develop Power Automation Scripts for automation and efficiency in data processing Implement best practices for automating data pipeline deployments and monitoring using CI/CD pipelines. Continuously optimize data workflows and query performance while ensuring compliance with governance policies. Contribute to datawarehouse design and optimization efforts Experience 8+ Years in Data warehouse and Data lake Design, Cloud data Architecture and analytics Experience in Databricks/Snowflake and Azure fabric Experience in Medallion Architecture Familiarity with Azure services for data management Ability to analyze complex datasets and present findings effectively Certified in Azure, PowerBI Solid background in Data Lake/Datawarehouse design and optimization Job Type: Contract Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Schedule: 8 hour shift Ability to Commute: Houston, TX 77001 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Houston, TX 77001: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
