Overview:
Weβre seeking a Trade Surveillance Engineer to design, build, and maintain high-volume data pipelines supporting TradingHubβs trade surveillance platform. The ideal candidate has strong ETL and financial market data expertise, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data used for market abuse detection and compliance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Develop and optimize scalable ETL pipelines for trading and market data ingestion.
β’ Integrate and configure TradingHub for seamless data flow and performance.
β’ Ensure data quality, validation, and governance across multiple asset classes (equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives).
β’ Troubleshoot complex data and system issues and support production environments.
β’ Collaborate with compliance, risk, and technology teams to enhance surveillance accuracy and efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
β’ 3+ years of experience in data engineering or ETL development, preferably in capital markets.
β’ Proficiency in SQL and Python or C#.
β’ Experience with TradingHub, Actimize, or similar surveillance tools is a plus.
β’ Knowledge of financial instruments, market data, and regulatory requirements.
β’ Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
