Position Title: Data Engineer (Contract – 12 months, through 2026)
Location: 100 Third Street, Castle Rock, CO 80104
Work Schedule: Hybrid – 2 days per week in office (one day must be Tuesday)
Experience Required: 10+ years
Interview Process:
• 1 informal/conversational with the primary manager
• 1 Team / Technical Screen
Rate Range: $75/hour to $85/hour (rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)
Role Overview:
Senior-level Data Engineer that will manage projects end-to-end, including requirements gathering, system analysis, development, testing, and deployment.
The client is undergoing an ERP technology refresh, moving to MS Dynamics (Finance and Operations) and ADP (HR). Immediate hire possible for the right candidate.
Required Skills:
• SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures
• SSIS
• Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory
• MS Master Data Services
• Developing data models and reports with Power BI and Power BI Report Builder
• PowerShell and Python
• System analysis and design
• Proficient in Azure DevOps for managing CI/CD pipelines and artifacts
• Competent in planning and managing software QA activities throughout SDLC
• End-to-End Development: Requirements Gathering, Analysis, Development, Testing, Deployment
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with MS Dynamics 365 and MS Purview – Data Catalog
• Consulting experience
Key Abilities:
• Communicate effectively with functional teams of varying technical expertise
• Establish effective working relationships at all levels
• Work collaboratively using verbal and written communication to resolve issues and complete tasks
• Document technical configurations and summarize technical information clearly
• Identify problems, evaluate risk, and develop logical plans for implementation and troubleshooting
• Interpret technical instructions in written, mathematical, or diagrammatic form
• Manage multiple activities concurrently and prioritize effectively
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Comfortable working independently and seeking direction when needed
