Job Title: Senior Data Engineer Location: Westlake, TX Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join a dynamic team responsible for building secure and scalable solutions for operational, reporting, and analytical data needs. This role involves a mix of application support, cloud migration, and reporting tool administration. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with OAS, Power BI Administration, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), along with a strong foundation in data engineering and reporting technologies. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Maintain and support a reporting application leveraging OAS, Power BI, and Informatica ETL tools. β€’ Analyze, model, transform, and load data in an enterprise data warehouse environment. β€’ Lead the migration of on-premise reporting applications to the cloud, specifically AWS and Snowflake. β€’ Collaborate with various technical and business teams to ensure delivery of high-quality data solutions. β€’ Provide application support and resolve technical issues related to data pipelines and reporting environments. β€’ Participate in software development lifecycle activities including architecture, design, coding, testing, and deployment. β€’ Assist in evolving departmental technical practices and contributing to process improvements. Must-Have Qualifications: β€’ 8+ years of relevant industry experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field. β€’ Strong experience in Data Engineering, Data Modeling, and Data Analysis. β€’ Proficiency in Oracle/PL-SQL, Informatica, and working with Linux/Unix environments. β€’ Proven experience administering OBIEE/OAS platforms. β€’ Hands-on experience with reporting tools like Power BI and/or Tableau. β€’ Experience delivering Data as a Service (DaaS). β€’ Working knowledge of Python, Java, and C. β€’ Prior experience with AWS, Snowflake, and Airflow preferred. β€’ Understanding of cloud technologies, preferably AWS and/or Azure.
