JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is looking for a Senior Developer for one of our largest Oil and Gas clients in Downtown Houston, TX. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex data pipelines and backend systems that support financial and accounting operations, with a strong focus on integrating and optimizing data flows from the IDEAS accounting system. The role involves writing advanced SQL queries and stored procedures in SQL Server and Oracle, developing Python scripts for ETL processes and data automation, and building RESTful APIs and microservices to enable seamless data access across platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with accounting and finance teams to understand business requirements, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and deliver scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency. This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week onsite in Downtown Houston.
