Senior Data Engineer

Data Engineer Location: Dearborn, MI 48120 Schedule: Hybrid- 4 days onsite • • NO C2C or C2H • • Position Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that support efficient and accurate data collection, storage, processing, and analysis. This role will collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver robust infrastructure and pipelines across structured and unstructured data environments. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate with business and technology teams to gather and understand current and future data requirements. 1. Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data infrastructure for data collection, storage, transformation, and analysis. 1. Develop and manage data pipelines, data models, and applications to support efficient data workflows. 1. Implement and maintain data platforms such as data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouses. 1. Create analytical tools, algorithms, and scripts to automate data engineering tasks. 1. Monitor and optimize data systems for performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Required Skills: • Data Warehousing • Data Modeling • Data Analytics • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Preferred Skills: • Experience with data ingestion and transformation for various data types • Proficiency in BigQuery, stored procedures, triggers, and QlikView • Familiarity with GCP Cloud Services, Cloud Functions, Data Fusion, Astronomer, and Airflow Experience Required: • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering • Proven track record of delivering scalable data solutions in enterprise environments Education: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
