Reports To: Director of Data
Seeking a highly self-directed engineer, comfortable-owning end-to-end, and able to manage multiple initiatives while balancing priorities. Youβll work in a fast-paced, collaborative product and engineering team, partnering with engineers, analysts, product leaders, and solution architects to deliver impactful data-driven solutions.
Most Important Responsibilities
β’ Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade data platforms that support analytical and operational workloads.
β’ Build and optimize automated data ingestion and transformation workflows for reliability and performance.
β’ Structure, normalize, and model large datasets to enable reporting, forecasting, and business intelligence initiatives.
β’ Continuously improve data quality, system reliability, and platform scalability through proactive monitoring and architectural enhancements.
β’ Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies, pipeline failures, and system performance issues.
β’ Identify system constraints and design forward-looking solutions for scalability and throughput.
β’ Prototype analytical frameworks, automation tools, and data-driven utilities to accelerate insights and efficiency.
β’ Architect and manage cloud-native data workflows, including monitoring, logging, and cloud storage integrations.
β’ Actively participate in agile practices, sprint planning, and process improvement initiatives.
β’ Participate in production support rotations to ensure platform stability and uptime.
What you can bring to the table to impact this role, team, and organization:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in computer science or related field
β’ 4+ years of advanced experience with relational databases and complex SQL development.
β’ 4+ years of experience with Java or Groovy languages.
β’ 3+ years of experience with web services APIs (SOAP/REST)
β’ 2+ years of experience with data modeling and DBT.
β’ Knowledge of modern platforms including how to design, scale and optimize data systems.
