Senior Data Engineer

Payrate: $65.00 - $69.30/hr. Summary: Supply Chain Data Strategy and Cloud Operation are core to the Company and its operations. We’re looking for individuals who can bring their core set of knowledge as well as learn new tools to provide new data and capabilities to support Company's ever-growing Supply Chain. Responsibilities: • Accountable for developing and delivering technological responses to targeted business outcomes. • Analyze, design, and develop enterprise data and information architecture deliverables, focusing on data as an asset for Supply Chain and the overall enterprise. • Understand and follow reusable standards, design patterns, guidelines, and configurations to deliver valuable data and information across the enterprise, including direct collaboration with 84.51, where needed. • Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. • Create and leverage Databricks notebooks to source, shape, and store data using SQL, Python, PySpark. • Utilize enterprise standards for data domains and data solutions, focusing on simplified integration and streamlined operational and analytical uses. • Ensure there is clarity between ongoing projects, escalating when necessary, including direct collaboration with 84.51. • Define high-level migration plans to address the gaps between the current and future state. • Analyze technology environments to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement. • Promote the reuse of data assets, including the management of the data catalog for reference. Qualifications: • Proven experience in data engineering or a related field. • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark. • Experience with cloud platforms and data architecture. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Desired Skills: • Experience with Databricks and other data engineering tools. • Knowledge of supply chain processes and data management. • Familiarity with data catalog management and data asset reuse. • Understanding of enterprise data standards and integration. • Ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly. Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $65.00 - $69.30/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
