Role description
My leading Telco client are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to work on a large scale transformation programme. You'll work as part of the Data Lake team, designing and implementing data pipelines to collect, clean and transform data from various sources. You'll also build and maintain data storage and processing systems, such as databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
This is a long-term contract position.
The following skills / experience is essential:
• Strong Data Engineer background
• Strong experience on either Azure, AWS or GCP
• Preferred knowledge on Azure and Databricks
• Python and Power BI.
• Able to write effective and maintainable unit and integration tests for ingestion pipelines.
• Good communication skills
Rate: Up to £425/day
Duration: 6 months +
Location: London (good work from home options available)
