We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a dynamic team for a financial services client working on high-impact projects that enable data-driven solutions for multiple business lines. This is a long-term engagement with ongoing work and opportunities to make a significant impact.
Team & Project Overview
• Team Size: 8–12 (mix of onshore and offshore resources)
• Daily Stand-Up: 8:00 AM CST
• Current Focus: Delivering products and features for business stakeholders across four key areas:
• Finance & Actuarial: Analytical reporting for internal teams
• Enterprise Client Experience: Building digital solutions for enterprise needs
• Digital Customer Experience: Enhancing campaign effectiveness
• Long-Term Outlook: Continuous, ongoing work with no anticipated slowdown
Required Skills and Experience
• DataBricks: Ability to design and develop robust data pipelines
• DBT: Proficient in data transformation workflows
• SQL Expertise: Complex joins, aggregations, CTEs, query optimization, data profiling, and analysis
• Self-Starter: Highly motivated and able to work independently
• Excellent Communication: Strong ability to collaborate and articulate technical concepts
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
• Python
