Title: Senior Data Management Analyst Location: 550 S Tryon St Charlotte, NC Alternate Locations: 1525 W WT Harris Blvd Charlotte, NC or 11625 N Community House Rd Charlotte, NC Duration: 3 months Schedule: 3 days in office/2 days remote Work Engagement: W2 Benefits on offer for this contract position: Health Insurance, Life insurance, 401K and Voluntary Benefits Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Management Analyst to support data defect remediation and regulatory reporting defect coverage. This role will manage an individual portfolio of data defects, partner across multiple functional teams to drive timely remediation, and provide critical support for FR Y‑14 in‑flight defect coverage—including triage, escalation, and coordination with leads and stakeholders. Responsibilities: • Own and manage an assigned portfolio of data defects end‑to‑end, including requirement clarification, blocker identification, lifecycle progression, and closure. • Drive cross-functional stakeholders—including data providers, downstream consumers, and reporting teams—to meet remediation and documentation requirements within required timelines. • Provide material support and leadership for FR Y‑14 defect coverage, including: • Forum representation • Issue triage • Escalation management • Coordination across program and reporting leads • Support ad‑hoc defect-related activities, including SLA monitoring, stakeholder communications, status reporting, and escalations. • Apply critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to identify the right information sources, systems, and partners required for resolution. • Ensure alignment with data governance, quality standards, and regulatory expectations. Qualifications: • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. • 3–5 years of experience in data management, data quality, defect/issue remediation, and/or regulatory reporting support. • Hands-on experience resolving data issues using defect/issue management tools such as EDQDM, JIRA, or similar. • Working knowledge of financial and regulatory reporting, including artifacts such as FR Y‑14, Call Report, 10‑K, and 10‑Q, and understanding of how upstream data issues impact reporting outputs. • Understanding of data flows and lineage across systems (e.g., SOO → SOR → ADS/Aggregators → Reporting). • Strong stakeholder and relationship management abilities, with a track record of coordinating across multiple teams and driving timely outcomes. • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in ambiguous or unclear scenarios.
