Senior Data Mapping Analyst

Role Overview
The IT Analyst V supports data mapping and documentation efforts by working closely with business and technical stakeholders. This role is responsible for mapping data between source and target systems in Snowflake and Oracle, explaining the functional logic behind those mappings, and reviewing existing documentation to ensure alignment and approval.
Key Responsibilities
• Map tables, fields, and columns from source systems to target systems in Snowflake and Oracle.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all data mapping documentation.
• Identify gaps, discrepancies, and dependencies within the data mapping process.
• Document and explain the functionality, logic, and rationale behind data mapping decisions within Snowflake and Oracle environments.
• Provide structured explanations to support development, quality assurance, and business teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate mapping logic and confirm alignment with business requirements.
• Review existing documentation related to data flows, data mappings, and system integrations supporting Snowflake and Oracle platforms.
• Align new mapping documentation with established standards and frameworks.
• Present documentation updates for review, approval, and stakeholder sign-off.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:
• Experience mapping tables and columns from source systems to target systems in Snowflake and Oracle.
• Ability to explain functionality and rationale behind data mappings.
• Experience reviewing existing documentation and aligning it for approval.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $55.00/hour to $65.00/hour. Please note that the pay range may be adjusted based on the specific contract and client requirements. This contract position is not eligible for benefits.
