Role Overview This role will provide expertise and support to the DJJ HR team in HR data reporting, validation, and visualization. The consultant will enhance and expand an existing Power BI dashboard and help establish a data warehouse to collect, store, and organize HR data. Key Responsibilities • Develop and improve a dynamic, interactive Power BI HR dashboard • Ensure HR data consistency, accuracy, and usability for reporting and strategic initiatives • Enable automated and frequently refreshed data updates • Support ad hoc HR reporting needs • Collaborate across functional areas to understand HR data requirements • Maintain confidentiality and provide knowledge transfer/training to staff Key Metrics to Include • Agency position count and headcount • Workforce demographics • Turnover and retention trends • Leave usage and absenteeism • Time-to-fill and vacant positions • Additional HR metrics as identified Required Expertise • Strong experience with raw HR data and HR analytics • Advanced Power BI dashboard development and visualization skills • Data warehousing concepts and implementation • High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and training capability Required Skills & Experience The consultant must meet the following minimum skill requirements: • Power BI – Required – 5 years • SQL – Required – 5 years • Python – Required – 5 years • SAS – Required – 5 years • Data Management and Development – Required – 5 years
