About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join a high-impact, cross-functional data team focused on automating and optimizing marketing operations through advanced machine learning. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in open-ended problem spaces, values ownership, and enjoys delivering data-driven solutions that fuel business growth.
You'll work alongside data scientists, ML engineers, analysts, and data engineers to build and productionalize models that drive decisions in media spend optimization, attribution, business performance forecasting, and more. Your work will directly shape marketing strategies and customer experience at scale.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Develop, deploy, and scale advanced machine learning models for marketing measurement and optimization
β’ Translate complex business problems into analytical solutions and data products
β’ Collaborate across teams to integrate ML solutions into operational workflows
β’ Drive end-to-end project execution: ideation, model development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and adoption
β’ Lead exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model tuning using best practices
β’ Guide junior team members through mentorship and hands-on support
β’ Present technical concepts and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
β’ Contribute to roadmap planning, prioritization, and ongoing project strategy discussions
Must-Have Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in a STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics)
β’ 5+ years of experience building and deploying production ML models
β’ Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL
β’ Practical experience with Databricks, AWS, or similar cloud-based platforms
β’ Strong knowledge of statistical methods, including:
β’ Bayesian statistics
β’ Time series modeling
β’ Bootstrapping
β’ Sequential testing
β’ Double ML and generalized linear models
β’ Experience integrating ML solutions into real-world business processes
β’ Excellent communication skills and ability to tailor messages to varied audiences
β’ Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead initiatives
Nice-to-Have Skills
β’ Experience with marketing science, attribution modeling, or media optimization
β’ Familiarity with stakeholder engagement and change management for data product adoption
β’ Background in mentoring junior team members and contributing to team-wide best practices
