Job Title: Senior Data Scientist – AI/ML & Telematics
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid)
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Data Science pro to drive advanced AI/ML use cases—think customer retention, churn analysis, subscription analytics, and feature impact insights. You’ll work with large datasets, telematics info, and cutting-edge ML tools to optimize user experiences and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead AI/ML and Data Science projects, leveraging data to make customer-centric business decisions.
• Analyze large datasets, extract insights, and communicate results effectively.
• Apply advanced ML techniques such as deep learning (ENN, CNN, RNN), GANs, NLP, and LLMs.
• Work on ELT/ETL processes and transformations using tools like AWS Glue.
• Conduct data segmentation, churn analysis, repeat purchase, market basket, and A/B testing.
• Support ad-hoc data science projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years in Data Science, 2–3 years in AI/ML.
• Hands-on coding experience with Python, SQL (R is a plus).
• Strong AWS experience (Azure/GCP not acceptable).
• Familiarity with Cloud Llama, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and MLOps.
• Experience with distributed datastores (SQL/NoSQL) and Big Data technologies (Redshift, Snowflake, Firebase, BigQuery).
• Proven ability to analyze customer behavior, assess feature releases, and provide strategic insights.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Jupyter Notebooks, SageMaker.
• Prior experience with telematics or automotive datasets.
• Familiarity with model management frameworks and large language models like Claude, LLAMA, Haiku, Gemma.
Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical mindset and critical thinking.
• Ability to communicate insights and walk stakeholders through use cases.
• Strategic thinking for customer acquisition and retention.
