Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary Sr. Data Scientist – Banking - Local to Ohio • Serve as a key member of the Enterprise Analytics team to drive data-driven insights and identify business opportunities for growth. • Use advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling to extract value from large and complex datasets (customer, product, channel, digital). • Consult with business partners across Product, Marketing, Finance, and Senior Leadership to uncover opportunities for consumer experience optimization and value delivery. • Enable stakeholders with actionable, intuitive performance insights and recommendations to inform strategic decisions. • Collaborate within a centralized data science team and cross-functional teams throughout the company, supporting major projects from ideation to delivery. • Perform large-scale experimentation, build and deploy predictive models, and leverage both structured and unstructured data sources. • Research and apply cutting-edge techniques in machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence. • Present data-based findings and influence product teams and business direction through clear communication and data storytelling. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytics capabilities by learning and applying new tools and technologies (Python, R, SQL, SAS, cloud ML platforms). • Operate in a fast-paced, agile environment, managing multiple tasks and projects while meeting tight deadlines. • Ideal candidate exhibits strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, with a passion for optimization, creativity, and problem-solving. • Experience or background in financial services is a plus.
