Senior Data Scientist (Part-Time) – $100 –$175/hr

Data Scientist Hourly Contract | Remote US/UK/Canada | $100 –$175 per hour About the Role A leading AI research initiative is recruiting experienced Data Scientists to participate in a specialized project designed to improve next-generation AI systems. Independent contractors in this role will use their professional expertise to design and evaluate occupation-specific tasks, ensuring AI outputs reflect the rigor and accuracy of real-world workflows in data science. Key Responsibilities • Design and evaluate data science–specific questions and tasks • Apply professional expertise to test and validate AI-generated solutions • Provide structured feedback on accuracy, clarity, and methodology • Collaborate asynchronously with AI teams to refine evaluation guidelines Qualifications • 4+ years of full-time work experience as a Data Scientist • Based in the U.S., UK, or Canada • Strong analytical, statistical, and modeling skills • Excellent written communication and attention to detail • Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not supported) Project Timeline • Start Date: Immediate (rolling applications reviewed) • Duration: ~3–4 weeks • Commitment: Minimum of 15 hours/week • Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous — flexible working hours Compensation & Contract • Competitive hourly rate: $100–$175 USD/hr (U.S.-based scale; rates may vary by location) • Independent contractor classification • Weekly payments issued via Stripe Connect • At-will contract engagement • Please note: H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not eligible Application & Onboarding Process 1.
