We’re looking for DS to support our Verification DS team in MPK. Verification sits within the Care pillar in Central Integrity & Support. Verification establishes the authenticity of users, businesses, and advertisers on our platforms. This ranges from checking if they’re human, to who they are, and who they claim to be. It allows us to correctly restore account access, unblock revenue, remain compliant and prevent harm, with reach and impact across the entire Family of Apps. We need strong DS to help invest in this critical space for Integrity & Support and for the company. Qualifications: • 10+ years of work experience in analytics and data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python), and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R). • Has 10+ years of experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches, understanding ecosystems, user behaviors & long-term product trends, and leading data-driven projects from definition to execution [including defining metrics, experiment, design, communicating actionable insights]. • Is interested in solving complex Integrity & Support problems. • Be able to work well in ambiguous situations, and drive clarity for themselves and others. • Familiarity with developing/operationalizing new measurement. • Understand Machine Learning problems and associated measurement. Must have skills: • Strong SQL skills • Experience working with product AB testing. strong product analysis experience • Experience working with big organizations (working with multiple teams, XFN teams). Working with product management and other engineers. In general, working with other teams. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, a relevant technical field, or equivalent • 8+ years of experience + master’s degree or PhD
