Title: Data Warehouse Developer (Informatica Suite) Location: - McLean, VA 22102 (Remote) Hire Type: Contract Job Description: As a Data Warehouse developer, the candidate will design, develop, and maintain integration processes for data storage and data mining. Perform data warehouse design and testing, including data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation. Design data warehouse schematics, layouts, and capacity planning. Create and implement effective metrics and monitoring processes. Develop processes and procedures for entering information into data warehousing systems and for ensuring reliability of information entered. Seek continuous improvement in performance of data warehouse and ensure security of data. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique. What your day-to-day will be like: Develop, implement, and execute business processes to support the department Coordinate with other internal teams to craft strategies and achieve breakthroughs that support the wider Commercial Services objectives Perform root cause analysis on the bugs/defects identified. Support other functions when demand is high by sharing the workload regardless of your core team responsibilities. Create documentation for the work performed. How you will collaborate with others: Collaborate with partners, internal and external stakeholders on technology enhancements, projects and defects with existing solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to document bugs and enhancement requests and following project management methodologies to resolve identified system/application. WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT: You have these minimum qualifications: 7-10 years of professional experience Quantitative and qualitative analytics skills and reasoning to creatively identify the strengths/weaknesses of alternative and differentiated solutions, conclusions or approaches to hard problems Proficiency in Informatica Suite (Power Center, Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) service like Cloud Data Integration (CDI), Database technologies including Microsoft SQL Server and UNIX scripting) It would be useful if you have: Experience working in a hospitality and Supply Chain Management. Experience with Cloud Application Integration (CAI), Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Informatica Master Data Management (MDM). Experience with any other iPaas platform.
