Work on Critical Infrastructure – Support OT and nuclear systems that power communities Diverse Technology Exposure – Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and advanced analytics Collaborative Environment – Join a team that values transparency, accountability, and innovation Career Longevity – High likelihood of contract extension due to ongoing capital projects Opportunity for Growth – Work on projects involving machine learning, BI solutions, and predictive modeling Your Role & Responsibilities Manage and support multiple database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) Perform performance tuning, patching, database builds, backup/recovery, and ensure business continuity Develop and maintain automation scripts using KornShell, PowerShell, T-SQL, PL/SQL Partner with application support teams on projects of all sizes and durations Serve as a diagnostician and solution provider for data, information, and business process-related analysis Incorporate data governance into daily activities and enable data-driven decisions Provide expertise in data integration, insights, trends, and solution recommendations Participate in on-call rotation (every 4 weeks, 7-day coverage) Use ServiceNow to manage and fulfill requests Skills & Experience You Should Possess 8+ years of IT experience or equivalent Hands-on experience with Oracle (12c, 19c, 21c) and SQL Server (2014–2022) administration Expertise in backup/recovery, performance tuning, clustering, and failover Experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL database administration Strong scripting skills (KornShell, PowerShell, T-SQL, PL/SQL) Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, replication technologies, Oracle ASM, RAC, Data Guard Strong communication and collaboration skills Bonus Points If You Have: Experience with machine learning, BI solutions, and predictive modeling Knowledge of distributed computing, data visualization, and data architecture Certifications: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Microsoft SQL Server certifications Education & Certifications You Need: Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Science, Business, or related field Microsoft or Oracle certifications preferred What We Offer At Trissential, we value expertise, innovation, and collaboration. Competitive Compensation – You choose the model that works best for you, both with company-sponsored benefits! $79,000–$99,000 annually or $47–$57 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and location. Final compensation is determined based on skill alignment, years of experience, and fair, market-based rates by geography.
