Title: Sr Desktop Analyst Location: Fort Mill South Carolina 29715 (Hybrid, 3 days/week) Duration: 6 Months with Possible extension Job Description: Job Overview: The Senior Desktop Analyst will provide expert technical support for computers, applications, and related technologies to customers, end users, and operational staff. This role requires engagement across multiple organizational levels, including end users, management, executives, and local technical teams. Responsibilities encompass the specification, installation, and testing of computer systems and peripherals, all in accordance with established standards and guidelines. The position demands a thorough understanding of application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve complex, non-recurring technical issues. Responsibilities: • Provides Tier 3 support and escalates issues from Tier 2 for clients employees, Contingent Workers, and Statement of Work across multiple offices. • Resolves incidents and requests through a ticketing system in a fast-paced environment. • Deploys, fixes, and reimages end-user devices (laptops, desktops, printers, MFPs, wireless) per security policy. • Performs computer imaging and hard drive reimaging as per standards. • Handles Move, Add, Change functions including installation and removal of equipment. • Installs and troubleshoots Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and browsers. • Installs and troubleshoots macOS/Apple operating systems and proprietary apps. • Supports remote users with VPN setup and connectivity; offers user training and documentation. • Follows ITIL processes for change, incident, and problem management. • Troubleshoots and resolves requests within SLA timelines. • Adheres to Desktop and End User Computing policies and job aids. • Delivers high-touch, business-aware customer service. • Collaborates with Business Units, Active Directory, Cloud and Messaging, Networking, Engineering, Information Security, Customer Care Center, and vendors. • Works independently on routine tasks and follows management guidance for new assignments. Qualifications: • Experience with SCCM, Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure and Citrix for software and patch deployment. • Familiarity with security tools such as Crowdstrike, Netskope, DLP, and disk encryption solutions, especially BitLocker, is desired. • A solid understanding of security concepts, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP is considered beneficial. • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities, particularly regarding patching and hardware drivers.
