Hi Everyone, Greetings from ASH Global Software Position Title: Senior Developer Client: Texas Education Agency Location: Austin, TX Position Type: Contract Work mode - Fully Remote Must have: Prior Texas State Agency Experience Job Description: ASH Global Software is seeking a Senior Developer to support our client in Austin TX Development and enhancement of applications supporting Texas’ 1,247 school districts. Work across multiple agency stakeholders to ensure accuracy and efficacy of assigned components Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop a new reporting framework using .NET 8.0/9.0, Blazor, and other modern Microsoft technologies. • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in a SCRUM/Agile environment. • Analyze and enhance existing complex reports built with Crystal Reports integrated with Oracle databases. • Develop scalable and high-performance financial system solutions, ensuring seamless database integration using Oracle. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the DevOps team, to maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation processes. • Provide innovative solutions to modernize and streamline the existing legacy project, ensuring alignment with business goals. • Skills and Qualifications • A seasoned Software Development Manager with over 8 years of experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), demonstrating expertise in: • Microsoft Technologies & Database Systems • Proficient in .NET 8.0/9.0, Blazor, C#, and Visual Studio, with a strong grasp of modern design principles. • Advanced knowledge of Oracle database management, including PL/SQL development, stored procedure optimization, and performance tuning for complex systems. • Advanced proficiency in SAS programming. • Agile & DevOps Practices • Skilled in adopting SCRUM/Agile methodologies to drive efficient project delivery. • Experienced in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools and automation strategies. • Version Control & Data Engineering • Proficient in Bitbucket for version control. • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting frameworks. Required Experience: • Software Development Life Cycle • Entity Framework • Oracle (PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Database Management, Performance Tuning) • Strong understanding of data modeling • Design Principles • Blazor Server, Blazor WSM • Fluent UI • Bitbucket for version control • Nomad and Consul • NET 8.0/ 9.0 framework, C#, Visual Studio • Familiarity with Project-Specific Tools such as JIRA, TEMPO, Bitbucket, Confluence etc. • SCRUM/Agile methodologies • Prior Texas State Agency Experience
